In February 2004, Laser Advantage MediSpa's Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle were the cosmetic skincare specialists for the Star 101.3 FM Extreme Makeover event.Star 101.3 sponsored a contest in which listeners who submitted their names were entered into a drawing for a cosmetic and lifestyle makeover. In addition to a new wardrobe, furniture from Ikea, and a vacation, the winner received a choice of treatments provided by Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle of Laser Advantage Medispa, esteemed Dr. Stephen Ronan (see picture), cosmetic dentists Dr. Usinger of Blackhawk Plaza Dental and Dr.Levy and Dr. Urick of California Center of Aesthetic Dentistry in San Francisco.
Star 101.3's popular morning personality Don Bleu announced the entrants' names on the air. Entrants who called the station back within an hour were chosen as final contestants. All selected contestants, Star 101.3 personnel, and makeover providers were invited to an extravagant party at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco for the final drawing. Entertainment was provided by singer Kimberly Locke from the widely popular Fox TV show American Idol.

On April 27, 2004, Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle were filmed at their office by the CBS camera crew for their featured appearance on the CBS/KPIX television show Fabulous U Magazine. Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle are showcased performing various procedures available at their practice, Laser Advantage Medispa of San Ramon, including Thermage -a non surgical skin tightening, Photodynamic Therapy, Fotofacial, Botox, and fillers such as Radiance.

A range of clients were chosen from over one hundred applicants to show just a few of the many no down-time procedures now available to patients at medispas such as Laser Advantage Medispa of San Ramon. One of Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle's patients is Don Bleu, a local celebrity and well loved radio personality. He and other patients interacted freely with camera crew as both Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle performed for the cameras just a fraction of the procedures they provide to other patients on a daily basis.

Then one week later, the cameras returned to film the amazing progress the patients had made and to record a first hand account of their reactions to their transformed appearance. They also took the e opportunity to interview Dr. Jeffrey Riopelle and Donna Riopelle and hear their extensive knowledge on the every growing aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology field and their dedication to providing the best care available.
